An independent judging panel comprising over 30 independent consultants and industry veterans, and panels of highly qualified affluent customers in the region will contribute to 70% and 30% of the decision-making, respectively.

All licensed conventional and islamic banks serving the Affluent Customer segment are encouraged to participate. The self-nomination process begins on July 23rd, 2018, and closes on August 24th 2018.

The process for Affluent Banking providers involves four simple stages.

First is internal self-assessment and deliberation on the categories you wish to compete in. You may focus on something you take considerable pride in or on an offering that you merely want the judging panel to give you a fair assessment of.

After confirming the entries, you will prepare a written online submission regarding the category you are entering, making sure to meet the criteria detailed in the Entry Guide. It would be wise to give examples and to attach relevant appendices, videos, and screen captures.

The panel of jurors will deliberate on the information you provide and offer a first round of ratings as well as positive and negative feedback.

You will then be invited to participate in a closed-door review session with our senior committee member to discuss the judges’ feedback. You will be offered a 7-day rebuttal window to address any missing information or misinterpretation of the information you provided in your submissions.

The very kind jurors will review the additional information you provide and offer their final judgment and scores.

The winner of each category, known as the “Best-in-Class” (BIC), will be the company with the highest overall score in that category. A maximum of 2 runners-up, each referred to as an “Outstanding Achiever” (OSA), is possible in each category.  Outstanding Achievers will be awarded if their overall scores are within 10% margins of the BIC scores.
